The Mortal Instruments’ plot revolves around Clary Fray, who figures out that she is a descendant of combatants whose duty is to save the world. The movie crashed at the box office, with many saying it was too mystical and immature. The movie franchise was adapted into a TV Franchise, receiving better reception than its movie counterpart.
