What not many people know is about Tron is that it’s based on an 80’s movie with the same title. When people caught wind of a sequel, Tron: Legacy in 2010, they were excited. The movie’s special effects were great but people didn’t like the straightforward story without any twists. With lackluster reviews, the final part of the trilogy that the director wanted was never to be.
