A great way of learning about history is watching a historic film without having to read a book. Master And Commander was a story taken from Aubrey Maturin’s book about the Napoleonic Wars. The movie did well with multiple Academy Awards and award nominations and Russel Crowe was well-liked by audiences. Despite this, the movie didn’t gross highly enough to afford it a sequel.
