Mikhail reached out to his friends on Facebook explaining the situation and hoping for some good suggestions on what to do. With the help of a friend, they scoured contacts in Moscow looking for a cat that could pass as Viktor.
Thankfully they tracked down a friend of a friend whose pet was an exact doppelgänger of Viktor, only a couple of pounds slimmer. And so began Mikhail’s scheme of fooling the airline with a tale of two kitties.
