The chapel doors flew open and Thulani stopped reading mid-sentence. A surprised murmur rose through the crowd as everyone turned to see what was going on. When they saw the figure standing in the doorway, the murmurs became expressions of confusion and surprise. What was going on here? They looked from the intruder to Thulani for answers, but the horrified expression on his face said it all.
