Wow, what a story! It just goes to show that before you add a new family member in the form of a pet, it really does help to connect with the animal first. You should meet it, rub its belly, throw it a ball or hear it purr. If not, then this can end poorly. Nonetheless, it’s thanks to Shayla that this poor kitten is now in a loving and stable home.
