The Dead Body In the Garage
I’m a former city employee who oversaw code enforcement. I got a call from an inspector saying that he thought he saw a dead body in a garage… it wasn’t. It turned out that the street food vendor killed a pig and she was drying the pork in the condo’s garage. The pig’s juices were seeping out under the garage door, so someone reported it. There were several buckets of rendered fat in the corner and it wasn’t fresh. The sad thing is that she used all of it to make her tamales.
