Road Lobster Special
My stepmother, the lead health inspector in our town, told me this story about a truck full of lobsters crashing on the highway. After determining that they were no longer viable, the owner was told to dispose of them. The next day a restaurant in town announces a twin lobster special for $19.99. We found out that the owner of the restaurant was selling “road lobster” to unsuspecting customers, while the truck owner sold some behind the restaurant. The truck owner lost his license to operate tracks and there’s a new restaurant now.
