Two decades after Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” hit was released, someone on 4chan Rickrolled people by claiming that the link for the song was actually the trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV (the real one was unavailable because of the heavy traffic).

Soon enough, Rickrolling became a popular internet phenomenon. Oh yeah, Rickrolling began in 2007 – more than a decade ago!
