15. The Seven Society
This secret group has mysterious origins, and the first sighting of the group’s symbols was in 1905. Nobody knows who was in the club, as their names are revealed after they die and the banner shows up at their funeral.
The group sends donations that contain a lot of 7s – $77.77 donation for a drinking fountain in 1955, $14,777.77 in 2008 for funding student ideas that would improve UVA and so on.
