In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Jamie Foxx played as Electro. He was painted blue and wore blue contacts. The rest of the effects were added digitally. Foxx recalls that the make-up helped him get into character: “I would just look in the mirror for hours, just looking at the blue contacts and everything and then finally honing in [and] found him.”
