Abraham Lincoln
The 16th president of the United States was shot while attending a play in April 15, 1865. But despite the upheaval caused by the civil war, his body was toured by train through Illinois, Indiana, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania before it was laid to rest in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Illinois.
