Vladimir Lenin
Lenin was best known for being a communist revolutionary who served as head of the Soviet Russian government. He died on January 21, 1924 after falling into a coma from an incurable disease of the blood vessels. His open casket funeral was deemed the most famous and can still be seen at the Lenin Mausoleum.
