The most shocking thing about Dux is that he made up his whole back story to build his reputation and earn profit. There was no record of a Senzo Tanaka, and Dux’s military records claim he fell off a truck and never left San Diego. And Dux was eventually exposed by the Los Angeles Times. This brought the validity of martial arts into question.
