17. First Time Offenders
Most of the offenders facing Judge Cicconetti haven’t broken the law before, so the odd sentences should teach them a lesson and give them the option to choose either the traditional jail time or the bizarre alternative.
What do the defendants’ lawyers have to say about these strange punishments? They hate it, would pay a bigger bill or do anything else than being shamed in public. But they do it anyway, as they try to avoid jail time!
