We are now in the year 2021. As a species people say we are evolving, we are learning more and more, having a better quality of life, etc. Gone are the days where profanity and vulgar behavior was considered to be the norm. Especially when it comes to public place etiquette, we seem to have set some standards as a society. Unfortunately, some people seem to be stuck in the past. Today we will present you an unbelievable story, of manners being taught to people who deserve them, in the most weird and unexpected way.
The Protagonist
The protagonist of our story is a young kid that is in desperate need of a life lesson. You can judge by yourself if this person deserved what he got, but we are sure you are going to understand. Don’t worry by the time this story ends, the lesson will have been served as well. You would wish you were there to see it live!
The Subway
The setting is the subway. Everybody’s favorite place to come in contact with strangers and people that you don’t know. In there, anything can happen. You can meet the love of your life, get sick, get lost, and many more, but one thing is for sure. You are going to see a lot of different people, and even learn an important life lesson like this boy did… No wonder it went viral!
The State Of The Carts
Everyone seems to be going somewhere (and they are), running around, doing their business. There is no time for interactions. The subway is a only temporary stop for many people. The problem is that maybe these people are a bit too many. There is nothing worst than a cart packed with people, right? Well, this is where you are wrong. And here’s why…
A Break, After A Long Day
Imagine this. You had a long day at work. Your boss was giving you the heat for a mistake that someone else did and makes you work unpaid overtime. You finally get off work, with only one thought in your mind. “I wish I could teleport home”. But no, you are 50 years too early (you heard it here first). So, you run to catch the first metro that comes, and here you find what you wouldn’t wish to your worst enemy…
The Villain
A KID. Ok it doesn’t sound so scary, or dramatic. But it is not the kid by itself that is the problem, it's what the kid is doing that has the whole cart in turmoil. As you all might now, the subway is not just a common place. You are in such close proximity to other people, that certain behaviors are strictly forbidden. The kid was doing something no one is allowed to do.
What Could He Be Doing
What is he doing? Is he shouting at people? Running around like crazy? Wearing crocs? What could be so terrible? The thing he was doing was something that the public opinion has condemned highly. Especially inside the metro. Something so simple, but yet so terrible…
Guilty
He is leaning on his seat, occupying more than 2-3 people’s worth of space. I know, I know. Horror movie stuff. Under normal circumstances, the posture that the kid had would pass unnoticed to the crowd. But we all know that in a situation like that to be occupying more than 0.7 persons’ space, is a crime in the eyes of the public. And the public was showing it.
The Childs Behaviour
Several people got to the kid and politely asked him if he could move his legs a bit, so they can rest their bodies. I am sure the kid would have answered something if he had some manners. In this specific case, he just kept being fixated on his smartphone. If he looked around, maybe he could have felt what was coming for him.
The Parent
This kid, not only was he occupying many seats, but he was also leaning onto a woman next to him. Since the woman was doing nothing, it has been speculated that she must have been his mother. Otherwise, she must have been the most patient person in the world. I don’t imagine anyone will let a rude kid lean on them for so long. His mother probably played the most important role in this story as you’re about to see.
The Parents Behaviour
She did nothing. I think anyone that is familiar with society and has some common sense, would educate their child to not do this in the subway. Apparently, this mother didn’t do anything to prevent her son from being a nuisance to everyone. But there is more than just that…
Why Parenting Matters
This kid's parents would be the ones responsible for him learning the proper manners. This is the role of a parent. To prepare the kid for the world they are going to get out to when they get adults. Here we see an example of parenting gone wrong. So someone had to step in and teach this kid a lesson. The best part is that someone caught the entire scene on camera.
What Is Missing From Our Story?
With an apathetic mother, a rude kid, and an angry and tired mob of people, we have all the ingredients we need to create a story that would capture the attention of social media around the world. Or maybe something is missing from our story?
I Need A Hero
Think of all the good stories that people remember. What did they have in common? Something that is missing from this story. If the setting is set, and we have our “villain” then what is logically missing? Of course, the answer is the “Hero” of the story.
The Hero
Enter Hero. A guy, seemingly minding his own business entered the cart. He did the logical move, to move towards the spot that there is an empty seat. Finally, after a day of hard work, he could sit and take a breath.
Who Is He?
He is a big man, with his scarf glasses, phone, and everything. An ordinary human being. Nothing seems to stand out of the ordinary. But heroes are people that take brave action in the most desperate times. So let’s judge him by his crazy actions!
The First Approach
He walks up to the child and politely asks him if he could move his feet for him to sit. As we already know, the kid was so engulfed with his colorful screen that didn’t even notice the kind gentleman, or that’s what he pretended at least. He was expecting that this man would let him get away with it as everybody else had done. It was time for this kid’s luck to change.
How To Fight For Your Rights
Our hero could have easily just let the kid do as he pleases. If he was like the rest of the people, shy and not wanting to make a scene, that could have been the case. But the way he was brought up, obviously taught him otherwise. You have to take what is yours. And that he did…
Thinking Of A Way To Educate The Child
He could have pushed him aside, he could have talked to the mother, he could have started screaming. That would definitely have the desired impact, of him getting a seat. But just getting a seat is not enough at this point. This kid needed to learn a lesson.
Cause And Effect
How could you teach a kid, that seems to think that he can do whatever he wants without anything happening to him, to take responsibility for his actions? Cause and effect. The cause is him being rude and taking up too much space, but he had to create the effect. The effect he did create is the most suitable he could, under the circumstances.
The Effect
Of course, by putting the whole weight of an adult grown man, on this boy's legs. To put it more plainly, he just decided to sit on his legs. Yeap, that’s right. A complete stranger walked up to another complete stranger in the subway and sat on his legs. And that’s not all…

The look on the kid's face was priceless. A perfect embodiment of surprise, fear, and regret. At that moment, he knew perfectly well, he had done something wrong. You might think that the story ends here, but you would be wrong. There’s more…
Did He Learn His Lesson?
Our hero decided that an initial scare should be enough, so he stood up, giving the kid the opportunity to remove his legs from the seat. A grand gesture, that got completely rejected by the kid, who seemed to be getting more stubborn by the moment. Time for round 2!

Since the kid didn’t move his feet, it's only natural that the guy sat back on them. Another round of intense emotions was expressed through the kid's face. Pretty sure, he was questioning his life decisions at this point. It’s time for the responsible parent to intervene, with a hilarious scolding.
The Mothers Reaction
What makes the scolding hilarious, is beyond belief. The mother started shouting at the kid, thankfully, and not the man sitting on her child’s feet. What any logical person would guess, would be that the mother would tell her kid to move his feet, for the man to sit. Well, you will be surprised if that was your guess.
The Scolding
She started yelling at him because he was responsible for reminding her to get down at a specific stop. Now that is something you don’t see often a mother so caught up in her world, that not only doesn’t pay attention to what her kid is doing but apparently to her surroundings either. A rude kid is a perfect fit with a seemingly irresponsible mother. While running out of the cart, the kid decided to take one last stab at the guy.
A Cowards Escape
Of course, behind the safety of the closing doors of the subway chart, the kid started yelling at the guy that sat on his legs. Cursing him and trying to humiliate him in front of the other passengers. This technique didn’t work, since in the eyes of the public, our hero became a hero. Giving an unforgettable lesson to this kid.

Avout The Mother

The interesting thing is how public opinion handles tales of revenge. Under different circumstances, people would have criticized how a grown man had the nerve to go and sit on a kid’s legs.
