Where Was He?
Back in the bathroom, Lex washes her hands and drys them on some tissue paper. She steps outside the toilet and makes her way over to the car. As she walks further, she sees a family of four pulling up into the gas station, laughing amongst one another. Lex smiles to herself. But then her smile stops. Her heart creeps up her throat as she stops cold at what’s in front of her. The spot where her boyfriend’s car was is now an empty space with skid marks on the ground.
