In front of the man, she pulled over to the side of the highway, exited her car, and walked toward him. A probing stare returned from him as he inspected the inner workings of Alicia.
A shiver ran down Alicia’s spine. She began to question whether approaching that man had been a wise decision. But she persevered in overcoming her worries and inched closer to him.
