Asking Questions
Her timid question: “Hey there, how are you?” prompted his pause before he replied. Was he suspicious of her intentions? Did his mind wander to something else?
“Thank you, I’m fine. How about you?” he finally asked. “I’m fine as well. I was simply curious if you or your dogs require any assistance. It’s the second time I’ve seen you on this road, and I just wanted to check in to see if you’re okay or if I can assist you in any way.”
