While the mechanic was inspecting the car, the police officer had left and gone back to work. He figured that his car would be ready for pick-up soon, after all, it was just a broken headlight… the deputy sheriff had no idea what might be causing the problem and was in for the surprise of his career. When the deputy received a call from the mechanic shortly after he had left the shop, he knew something was awry. Suffice to say, the repair hadn’t quite gone as planned!
