Not For Profit
I was let go from a non-profit for no reason (re: wasn’t in “rich” enough circles to be able to attract money to the org). I then got a job at a large funder for non-profits. The non-profit eventually came knocking and I had the ear of the CEO.
I didn’t end up saying anything, but it was one of the most satisfying moments in my life to have that power and a friendly reminder to treat all people well. Story Credit: Reddit/scullytryhard
