Tim Miller, TXEQ’s president, recalls having to make some tough decisions. He launched a boat out into the lake and scanned the water with sensitive sonar equipment, hoping against hope that they wouldn’t find Ezra there. Everyone was trying to keep hoping for the best, but they were all bracing for the worst. Ezra had been missing for almost 24 hours.
