Notes Of Encouragement
Every day, Francesca would write a little note of encouragement to her son and place it with his lunch. She did it to soften the blow of another of his favorite treats disappearing from his usual lunch rotation. Twinkies and crisps were replaced with carrot fingers and egg salad sandwiches, and all seemed to be going well. Her son seemed to be making progress. Until one teacher lashed out and undid it all.
