There are three primary causes for in-toeing in general. The first of these is a metatarsus adductus. This is the inward turn of the feet themselves. The other two causes are known as femoral anteversion and tibial torsion. These two ailments lead to abnormal positioning of the thigh bone and shin bone respectively.
