“Race to the Top” Mistake
The U.S. Department of Education competitive grant called “Race to the Top” was awarded to the education institutions (from kindergarten to high schools) in all U.S. states. However, New Jersey filled the application with the wrong data, and they didn’t get no money. They lost $4 million from “Race to the Top” funds!
