Ben Potter began working on the case back in 2006 when he was first called onto the scene at the Upward River Sun site in central Alaska. Dealing with morbid findings wasn’t unusual for Potter. But what first made the hair on his arm stand on end wasn’t what he would find, but where he found it: deep in the cold, dark forest of Tanana River Valley – an isolated place accessible only by helicopter.
