Buried several feet below the remains, Potter and his department discovered two more infant bodies. These bones were different. They had been preserved, so it might be possible to get a DNA sample. But the strange thing was that bodies aren’t usually preserved well by sand and silt. Something that the lab couldn’t quite explain was at play here. Potter would need to seek advice from outside the scientific community.
