A Happy Ending
As of now, it seemed things turned around pretty quickly for the Smith family. They paid off the mortgage, installed a lovely loft and kitchen conversion, and planted a 60-year-old sequoia tree in the back garden. They also managed to acquire some new neighbors; a lovely family.
And so, one cold winter morning, Ronnie was stood sipping on her tea, watching her new neighbors start their morning commute. She lets out a sigh of relief. Finally, she was at peace.
