15. A Lot Of Dinosaur Species Had Feathers

We’ve seen dinosaurs in books and movies, and they all look like huge lizards, but back then, we didn’t know they were closely related to birds. With more connections to birds, paleontologists now agree that many dinosaur species had feathered. We know a feathery dinosaur is hard to imagine, but it’s a fact we cannot ignore. At first, scientists believed only flesh-eating dinosaurs had feathers, but in 2014, they uncovered an incredibly well-preserved fossil of a feathered herbivore species. That could mean all dinosaurs had feathers!
