Pacing Up And Down
It was a dog and it seemed to be on the loose, pacing up and down the streets. “What was this dog doing here?” Jeff thought to himself. Was it lost? Or had it run away from home? Placing his coffee cup in his tray, he starts up the car and pushes forward on the accelerate button. He knew he had to get it off the street to protect it.
Looking For Attention
Jeff cruises closer to the dog, getting a better look. It seemed to be a Rottweiler and in good health, but the dog wasn’t phased by Jeff and his police car. Jeff gets out of the car and slowly approaches the dog. The dog immediately perked up and seemed to be thrilled to have gotten someone’s attention. But why was it looking for attention?
On A Mission
Now that the dog had Jeff’s full attention, he jumped up at Jeff, his tail wagging and his tongue hanging out. Then all of a sudden the excited dog began to run away from him. Startled, Jeff decides to follow the dog and see if he can be of any assistance. This dog was clearly on a mission, and now Jeff found himself on the mission too.
Sneaking Into The Home
Jeff had been following the dog along a few streets now, but then the dog stops outside a bungalow. There was a car on the drive, but it was eerily quiet inside. The dog walks over to Jeff and nudges him before walking up the porch. Slowly, Jeff makes his way over. He opens the unlocked front door and makes his way inside, Jeff calls out but there’s no response. Then suddenly, he sees something in the corner of the room.
