Officer Caron remembered, “I noticed that Sarah didn’t seem right. She was stumbling a little bit, moving very quickly. The closer I got to her I realized that there was a problem.” Thankfully, due to the officer’s quick thinking and Sarah’s luck of being near the officer, he was able to immediately begin the Heimlich maneuver.
