Boston’s 1976 John Hancock Tower was poorly thought through by the architects back then. As soon as it was opened, it became very expensive to repair because it was plagued with major mistakes. The building was not made to absorb the wind, so it is swaying when the wind blows. Spending $5 million and a lot of projects, the building was finally repaired.
