Modern history has never had a worse architecture when it comes to bridges. In Minneapolis, the bridge over the Mississippi River which connects the I-35 freeway and was a path 140,000 daily commuters took, collapsed on August 1, 2007. Thirteen people died and 145 were injured during the collapse. The thin planting along the rivets could not support the weight of the traffic.
