12. Stata Center
This building that houses Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Stata Center was designed by Frank Gehry especially because he has a unique vision. While it is a feat to look at it, the $300 million structure had drainage issues, walls that started falling and cracks into the foundation – all which made MIT sue the architect.
