The Real Annabelle
Believe it or not, Annabelle is based on a true story. Ed and Lorraine Warren, the married paranormal investigators the Conjuring films are based on, encountered the real doll in 1970. In their opinion, Annabelle was wreaking havoc on behalf of an “inhuman presence” who was trying to find a human host.
