Creepiness

Psychologist Frank McAndrew published a paper on meaning of “creepiness”, and how dolls play within this definition. In short, McAndrew believes that creepiness comes from an indirect, implied, or unverified threat. Nothing explicitly frightening or dangerous is happening. And yet… some undefined, residual feeling exists. Creepiness.
