I Moved Away From My Family
I moved out of state and away from all my family, having no contact with them except for my mother’s sister and her immediate family. I am terrified they will find out where I live/work, so I make a great effort to stay in the background. I’ve declined interviews (not famous, some reporter wanted to talk to me about a natural disaster that recently happened) and monitor what Google says about my name. If it is damaging, I usually contact the website. I do all of this because my family has done horrific things to me. Life is now fantastic.
