As a teenager, I stole around $2000 from my dad. He had a thing of cash as an emergency fund, and I dipped into it a bunch of times. When he inevitably figured it out, I lied, and our housekeeper’s daughter was blamed. The housekeeper was fired on the spot. Still haven’t revealed that to him.
