Enough Water In Our Rooms
Not my entire family, but my mother and me. We had these half-gallon plastic milk containers filled with water in each of our rooms from which we could drink any time we wanted without having to go all the way to the kitchen on the first floor.
It wasn’t until I was like 12 that someone asked me about it and found out it wasn’t a normal thing. Now that I think about it, I don’t understand why we didn’t just use normal water bottles. Easier to handle, I guess?
