The Double-Mortgage
I got to know that grandfather was a good-for-nothing addict who tried to sell his family’s home at night, while said family was inside sleeping. He also double-mortgaged the house and swindled my granny out of her salary. She only realized when she tried to leave him and the bank told her she had virtually no money left. There was nothing she could do about it.
