A Life-saving Gift

I’m a type 1 diabetic who was on the verge of running out of insulin. For the last couple of weeks, I had been using as little as I could, and because I had no health insurance from my work, I’d have to pay $300 for a vial, which I could not afford. I was a student and I had had to go to the clinic because I wasn’t feeling well. The staff was so concerned that the dean called me to make sure that I was still alive because I didn’t return the clinic’s calls. While running errands, I get a call saying that someone had donated some medical supplies to me. It was two vials of insulin, blood glucose test strips, etc. I was in tears when I got to the clinic; I owe my life to whoever donated it to me.
