Staying with Me
I fainted on in a subway station and a kind, elderly Chinese woman could not speak a word of English waited with me. She held my hand and fed me grapes when we woke up. She even waited with me while the EMTs were on their way. When they finally arrived, she patted my hand, then put my hand on her heart before she left.
