A Seven Mile Trip
I returned to my car after leaving a store to find that I’d locked my keys and phone inside. A teenager riding his bike saw me kicking my tire comes over to me and asks, “What’s wrong?” I explained my situation and told him that even if I could call my wife, she could not bring me the spare as it was our only car. He gave me his phone and said “Call your wife and tell her I’m coming to get her key.” It would have been a seven miles round trip. He said, “Don’t worry about it.” An hour goes by and he returns with the key. I offered him some money and after refusing, he said, “Let’s just say I needed the exercise Then he rode off into the sunset.
