The Kindness of a Message Board User
My mother who lived in Australia was dying. I live in Georgia with my husband who had been laid off from work, so I couldn’t afford to fly to her. A person that I only know from a message board used her frequent flyer miles and paid for my trip to Australia so that I could say goodbye. Imagine my surprise to find out that it was first class, both ways. I’d never been so grateful.
