Getting Disowned
It was my first child and even before then I knew that I would have to create boundaries with my baby to help her immune system. My mother-in-law didn’t think that she needed boundaries, even though she’s had a bad cough, and decided to kiss my daughter anyway. When I got angry, she called to tell me what a stuck-up witch I was and that she disowned her grandchild. I’m happy.
