My mother-in-law was an extremely cheap woman when it came to spending money on food. One night after eating a tri-tip steak that she cooked the entire family, she asked if the meat tasted funny. She went on to explain that it has been in the freezer since 2013 and she had to cut away the parts that were freezer burned. She even gave us a bottle of steak sauce she’d had for 7 years.
