Canceling the Entire Thing
My mother-in-law had the nerve to invite 80 extra people to my and her son’s wedding without asking out permission. We ended up canceling our wedding and eloping so that I could get the wedding I wanted. She was horrified that she had to uninvite so many people, but I was happy.
