Making Her Feelings Known
A week before my wedding, my mother-in-law writes her son, my now-husband, a letter telling him to think carefully about marrying me. On the day of the wedding, she stomped out, drove 7 hours to get home only to write me an email saying she never understood what he saw in me. I stopped speaking to her and it was amazing until I got pregnant. Because of our daughter, I try my best to put up with her, but I’d never let her babysit.
