The Unwanted Competition
The night of my wedding rehearsal dinner, my then mother-in-law stood up as if she was going to make a toast, but instead used the opportunity to announce that she was getting married the day after our wedding. We had no idea that she was even dating. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she showed up at our wedding wearing her wedding dress.
