The Hit and Run
“A 16-year-old kid did a hit and run then came to work like it was nothing. When the manager asked him why he was so fidgety (because he did seem a little juiced up), he calmly said, “Oh, I just hit a car then sped away here because I didn’t know what to do.” The manager was like “what the hell! Go handle that right now,” assuming that the kid would go back to the accident. He was wrong.”
“Well, it turns out the accident was AN HOUR PRIOR TO HIS SHIFT, which means the people involved in the accident were long gone. The kid went home just did whatever he normally does instead! It baffled me. The cops later showed up at his house to arrest him because some pedestrians thankfully caught his license plate. His mommy bailed him out and couldn’t believe that they would arrest her son.”
